Whilst we are expecting to be able to resume our lessons on or before 4th July 2020 the official guidance from the DVSA is still that as trainers we should limit instruction to Key Workers preparing for an Essential test. With further updates regarding broader training expected in the imminent future.
All Theory tests have been cancelled up to and including the 14th June 2020, with cancelled test being rescheduled. This is to allow the test centres to be prepared for candidates and social distancing measures to be implicated.
An official reopening date for Theory Testing in England will be provided by the DVSA as soon as possible.
In the meantime, I would encourage all our students to utilise of their FREE access to the Formula Jon Driving School Theory Test Pro mobile app. So, you are ready to nail that test at the first attempt!
Emergency Theory Tests are still available for those who have a critical need to take a test, such as NHS and Social Care Workers.
Driving Test centres in England remain closed and are only conducting tests for Key Workers that meet the stringent criteria. However, we believe that a full re opening date will soon be provided by the DVSA, which is rumoured to be next month.
We hope you are all safe and well, if you do have any questions please do not hesitate to contact your instructor.
Stay Alert, Stay Safe.
